Parent & Family Council Guide

Whether you've been a member of AHEPPP for ten years or ten weeks, you know that one the most popular questions and troublesome pain points for our field is the creation or revamping of a Parent & Family Board or Council on campus. You also know that the AHEPPP community is always willing to share their experiences, templates, or plans.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am thrilled to share with you a brand new resource for your important role on campus: our Parent & Family Council Guide.

This guide, written by respected senior leaders in the field, aims to provide you with a starting point for creating Parent and Family Boards, Councils, and/or Volunteer Programs. This guide will help you determine what model best supports the needs and goals of your institution and office. Within this guide, you will find important consideration and reflection prompts to assist you in launching your program.

As always, we welcome your questions or feedback. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance in using this guide or any of our other member resources.
