The Talking College™ cards are the original discussion prompts for college-bound students and their parents/guardians-- a useful resource or affordable welcome gift for incoming families! Creator Andrea Malkin Brenner, PhD is a college transition educator. She draws on 25 years of experience as a professor and university administrator and offers talks about the realities of the transition ahead to college-bound families in person and virtually. The Talking College™ cards encourage parents to share their expectations, provide guidance, and communicate support; assist colleges by preparing incoming students for the realities of campus life; and help new college students engage in dialogue and gain confidence in their independent decision-making.
