Family Engagement in Higher Education Awards

A highlight of the AHEPPP membership experience is the learning from peer institutions and colleagues. As the premier association for Family Engagement at the collegiate level, AHEPPP is pleased to recognize excellence in programming, communication, research, and service at our National Conference each fall. Award winners from years 2014-2025 are available on our awards archive page. There were no awards in 2022.

2026 AHEPPP Awards

It’s time to celebrate the outstanding work of your colleagues—and your own contributions—by recognizing effective practices in the field of parent and family engagement!  These awards recognize innovative programs and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for students and their families. The AHEPPP Awards Committee encourages you to submit your nominations by June 30, 2026 at 11:59pm PDT. 

Reminders

• Submit one form for each award nomination. 
• Self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged. 
• For partnership awards, including Something Borrowed, Something New, and Powerful Partnerships, please include all partners within the same nomination form. 
• Strong nominations include specific examples that show how the nominee’s work aligns with the award criteria. 
• Nominations may be submitted by staff from AHEPPP member institutions who support parents and families in higher education. 
• Eligible programs, initiatives, publications, and projects must have been implemented or produced by June 1, 2026.
