AHEPPP to Host 2025 National Conference in Orlando, Florida

AHEPPP: Family Engagement in Higher Education is excited to announce that our 2025 National Conference will take place in Orlando, Florida, from November 17-19, 2025. This annual event will bring together professionals from across the country to engage in dynamic sessions, share best practices, and strengthen our collective work in supporting student success through meaningful parent and family engagement.

Why Orlando? Orlando has long been a hub for education, collaboration, and innovation, making it a fitting choice for AHEPPP’s signature event. Its world-class facilities, accessible location, and array of amenities provide an exceptional backdrop for our gathering. Additionally, Orlando’s vibrant community has made it a favorite among many of our members.

Acknowledging Challenges and Affirming Our Values We would like to acknowledge that our return to Orlando in 2025 is not only a reflection of the city’s great offerings but also a result of our contractual obligation stemming from the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. While we remain excited to host our conference in this wonderful location, we recognize that Orlando’s current political climate may present challenges for some members. We fully understand that the situation in Florida—specifically recent legislative actions—has created an environment that can feel difficult or unwelcoming for some of our community members. We sincerely value the importance of considering all perspectives, and we are dedicated to maintaining our conference as a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
